Welcome to Waimarama Olives.
This family run, single estate extra virgin olive oil production business is situated on the east coast of the North Island and benefits from long Hawke’s Bay sunshine hours and is protected from frosts by on shore pacific coastal breezes.
Our olives are harvested in late May to early June. A small quantity of Barnea and Manzanillo are hand picked and processed as table olives, with the rest of the harvest being cold pressed within 24 hours to produce New Zealand and regional award winning extra virgin olive oil.
A great complement to many dishes. Try on salads, tomatoes and vegetables. Try it on your ice-cream too - olives are a fruit!
